ARRA Grapes
AVI, Agricultural Varieties Innovation, is a great project for production in Europe and the exclusive commercialization of seedless white, red and black grapes.
The ARRA™ varieties have been selected for their extraordinary taste and high Brix degree. Kiwi
Very interesting research is currently being carried out on the new varieties of yellow and red flesh kiwi, which have a unique taste, their quality is similar to that of the green flesh kiwi, but they have a more intense taste. The new versions will soon be available and they will certainly increase the current commercialised volume.

Kiwi Dorì
Dorì is a variety of yellow pulpy actinidia, characterized by the depth of the colour, the intense flavor and the precocity. This new variety is the result of several years of research at the Universities of Udine and Bologna.

Berries
The berries are raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and blackcurrants. The raspberries commercialized by our group come from the major genetic improvement program promoted by Plant Sciences: they are exclusive varieties called Grandeur and Radiance. Also with regard to blackberries, experiments are underway to obtain new varieties, to accompany the already present Tupi and Lookness. As for blueberries, innovation is on the horizon. RK Growers is in fact licensee of the new varieties of SEKOYA™ blueberries.
Apple
Apples are the most important fruit dealt with by RKG; some brands, like Rivoira, are leaders on the European, Arab, Latin American and North African markets. Commercialized varieties are mainly the Gala, Red Delicious, Golden, Granny Smith, but our main pride and joy is the Ambrosia: the only Italian apple, grown exclusively from Piemontese and Cuneo. The Rivoira Group has obtained the production and commercialization rights in European for Ambrosia. This apple is the sweetest and it has great flavour qualities; it is ideal for children. In Italy the Esselunga network has exclusive rights over its distribution, it sells Ambrosia juice, apples squashed and turned into sweet drinks without any additives: the ideal snack for a balanced diet.

Apricot
The objective of our Project that started ten years ago is to attain the highest quality.
Varieties that belong to the COT group, which have a great flavour, and a high degree Brix have been chosen; specific organoleptic characteristics and an impeccable appearance. Our apricots grow in Italy (400 ha), Spain (150 ha) and Tunisia (100 ha); in this way it is possible to increase the supply and prolong it for several months. The fruit is harvested at the perfect moment of ripeness to guarantee a top class taste for consumers. The overall production amounts to nearly 9000 tons and it is mainly commercialized through large scale distribution.

Pluot
The Pluot is a mixture between the plum and the apricot. RKG sells the Flavour King variety produced in Italy exclusively. This fruit grows in Spain, France and South Africa; it has an excellent flavour and aroma, and a high degree Brix. Expert and demanding consumers love it.

Pear
The shape, size, colour and flavour of pears vary a lot according to the variety. They are rich in simple sugars, above all fructose; their high potassium content makes them suitable for low sodium diets. This fruit helps regulate blood pressure and it helps to lower cholesterol. Saturn peaches and nectarines
Flat peaches are peaches in the characteristic squashed shape with a smaller stone and a sweet intense taste. It is an ancient species, recently updated and evaluated, and it is having great sales success. Flat nectarines are the same apart from the fact that they have velvety skin, and they are similar in appearance as the nectarines. The production and consumption of this fruit is increasing considerably.

Lemon
There is a lot of excitement about the production of seedless lemons. This fruit has an excellent Brix/ acid ratio, selected after thorough field research. In this way lemons with an extraordinarily agreeable taste with an absolutely balanced acidity level can be obtained. Probably, it is one of the most interesting novelties in the field of citrus fruit growing and for our country.
Strawberry
We have the exclusive rights to represent Surexport Italy, one of the major Spanish producers of strawberries and small red berries: raspberries, blackberries, blueberries. This group also has the exclusive rights of use for the Plant Sciences’ selected varieties, an internationally acknowledged research centre Plant Sciences, which uses traditional and innovative hybridizing techniques, and has managed to produce varieties that have an excellent flavour, with an even shape and optimum calibre, resistance to parasites and diseases and high productivity. RKG even markets fruit originating from new Italian cultivations, in particular Piedmontese.

Cherry
The Giant Red, Firm Red and other varieties that we are testing have lots of potential particularly for large scale distribution, considering the success they have obtained; they are distinguished for their optimum calibre and for their incomparable taste. Pinot Gris
Pinot Gris represents all the flavours we have come to love about east coast wine. It comes first to us the sweet stone fruits and pear notes and finishes in a dryer style with a balanced acidic spine. This would be regarded as an off-dry style Pinot Gris. Bottled in New Zealand.
Pinot Noir
Pinot Noir displays dark berry and sweet cherry style tones combined with the use of oak barrels which has developed an intense smoky finish on the palate. Bottled in New Zealand.
Chardonnay
Lightly golden in colour aromatic Chardonnay is an example of a delicious balance between fruit and acidity. Peach, lemon and pineapple are the prominent flavour profiles here, leaving your mouth feeling wonderfully rich and creamy. Bottled in New Zealand.
Sauvignon Blanc
Displaying classic Sauvignon characteristics with the crispness of passion fruit, capsicum and lemon. Fresh and sweet on the palette with the slight hint of honeydew, this Sauvignon Blanc has bold flavours with beautifully integrated lime and grapefruit aromas.
